Are you using ChatGPT Voice to become unstoppable in sales? If not, you’re missing out on the most powerful sales training tool in the 21st century.
Seriously. It’s that powerful.
Just 20-30 minutes everyday with ChatGPT, and you’ll outperform every salesperson in your company. That is… IF you use it right.
So today I’m going to show you exactly how to master objection handling using this AI tool that’s available to everyone. There is almost no learning curve, and you can get started today sharpening your skills.
Tip: If you use the free version of ChatGPT you can still use voice, and it will show up as the headphone icon. But I highly recommend paying $20/month for the Pro plan, which gives you the Advanced Voice mode. That will show up as a little waveform icon at the bottom right of the app. Trust me, this will be the best $20 you spend this month.
Why use ChatGPT Voice? Because it’s way faster than reading text-based GPT, and you don’t have to stare at a screen. You can do it while on a walk, at the gym, driving in the car, basically anywhere and anytime.
So how do you use ChatGPT to level-up your cold calling? Let’s jump right in.

Ask ChatGPT to Role-Play as Your Prospect
It used to be that we had to round up a colleague and hope they were in the mood for sales role-play. (See, it even sounds weird.) But thankfully, today we have a personal role-playing agent in our pockets.
And the best thing about it, you can get hyper-specific to personalize your sales training. Ask ChatGPT to become a decision-maker in your industry. Dial it right down to company size, budget, the role, and any other details you want. Then simply tell it what your product/service is, and any specific objections you want to train.
For example, ask ChatGPT, “Pretend you’re a CTO at a mid-sized tech company, and I’m offering a lead generation service. Let’s have a sales conversation, but I want you to raise objections like budget concerns or timing issues.”
Then, go ahead and start the simulated sales call. You’ll find that the AI is an excellent sales trainer and it’s way more patient and encouraging than any human could ever be.
For instance, on a simulated sales call, I got hit with the objection “I already have a vendor for this.” So in my rebuttal, I acknowledged the prospect’s satisfaction with their current vendor, and explained how my product will save them 10x over the next six months (and purposefully left it at that).
ChatGPT replied, “Great work, but for added persuasion, you might want to mention specific features and success stories that differentiate your product from the competition.” Bingo. Good insight there. These are the types of sales tips you’ll get from ChatGPT… nothing earth-shattering, but these are the things we forget while on live calls. And keep in mind, the more specific feedback you ask for, the more specific feedback it’ll give you.

More Tips on Using ChatGPT For Handling Sales Objections
Simulate real-life scenarios. Don’t ask for generic sales advice. Really try to simulate an actual sales call you’d have with a prospect in your space. Your voice prompt matters. Take a minute to jot down with pen and paper what to ask ChatGPT, then ask it. Once you have two or three winning prompts, you can cycle through them until they grow stale.
Rapid-fire objections. Just like working out at the gym, you have to target all the muscle groups, as it were, if you want to get strong and stay strong in cold calling. So start slow, but as you build your sales strength, ask ChatGPT to hit you from all angles with any and all objections. Tell it to be merciless! What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
Drill the objections you struggle with most. As you run through different scenarios, you’ll find that some objections are harder to overcome than others. These are your weak points, so you have to set aside time every day to drill these. This incremental improvement is what sales is all about. And when you turn your weaknesses to strengths, you can’t be stopped.
Ask it to supercharge your vocabulary. It’s OK if you’re not the most silver-tongued salesperson. But the words you say certainly matter. And you want to speak with authority and confidence. So ask ChatGPT to give you a better way to phrase your rebuttals for maximum impact. Ask it specifically for phrasing that is engaging and persuasive.
Ask for feedback and suggestions. After the session, Ask ChatGPT about your weaknesses and strengths. Believe it or not, it will offer thorough insight here. Then ask it for a list of objections to practice the following day. Better yet, ask: “Give me a 7-day training program for overcoming objections in cold calling.” Then roll up your sleeves and get to work on it.

Things to Keep in Mind
Is ChatGPT perfect? No, it’s not. You should continue to get human feedback (nothing is better than the human touch!). And use common sense, as not everything ChatGPT says is correct. I’ve found that it gives about 90-95% quality outputs, with a 5-10% miss rate. So I implement the good stuff and toss the rest.
It’s not a replacement for books! I highly (highly) recommend you read voraciously in the area of personal development and sales. There’s nothing as hard-hitting as a great sales book with unique insights based on a real person’s decades’ of sales experience. And in the same vein, it’s not a replacement for actual sales training from an expert.
Think of ChatGPT as a convenient sales supplement. You still need to get your daily intake of meat and veggies (that is books, sales training courses, sales conferences, etc.), but then you go home and open the pantry to your secret stash of sales supplements (ChatGPT Voice!).

Final Words
Don’t believe me that ChatGPT Voice is this powerful? There are people using it right now to learn new languages, public speaking, music theory, storytelling and creative writing, you name it. So there’s no reason that sales professionals can’t use it to sharpen their cold calling chops.
It’s a game-changer for anyone looking to level-up their objection handling and become a well-rounded rockstar in sales. And to be honest, you can’t afford not to use it. Those who neglect to grow with AI will likely be replaced by AI adopters in the years to come. So now’s the time to jump on board. And there’s no better place to start than right here.
OK! Now it’s time to get after it. Head to the app store and get ChatGPT Pro and start sharpening your weapons. You’ll need ‘em out there.
Until next time…
